Apple has expanded its production to include Brazil for the iPhone 16 series, alongside India and China. According to reports, Foxconn’s facility in Jundiaí, São Paulo, is now assembling the standard iPhone 16 model.
This marks the first time that a new iPhone is being assembled in Brazil from the launch date. However, the Pro and Pro Max models will still be imported from China for the time being.
By assembling iPhones in Brazil, Apple can now deliver new models to the country much faster than before. Previously, it took nearly a month for new iPhones to reach Brazil, but now the iPhone 16 will be available just a week after the U.S. launch.
This strategic move helps Apple reduce its reliance on China and speed up product availability in key markets. Prices for the iPhone 16 in the U.S. start at $799, while the Pro model begins at $999.
