Apple is preparing to add exciting new AI features to iOS 18, iPadOS 18, and macOS 15. These updates will bring ChatGPT integration to Siri, allowing Siri to answer complex questions using ChatGPT’s text and image generation capabilities.
When Siri cannot handle a tough question, it will suggest ChatGPT for help. Users can expect these features in iOS 18.2, iPadOS 18.2, and macOS 15.2 updates, set to release in December.
ChatGPT will help generate both text and images, while Apple’s own AI tools, like Image Playground and Genmoji, will create cartoon images and custom emojis.
Siri will use the latest GPT-4o model, and there’s no need to create an account for ChatGPT—requests will stay private.
Visual Intelligence is another new feature that has been launched with the iPhone 16. It allows the camera to recognize objects or locations when the Camera Control button is pressed.
The first set of updates, iOS 18.1, iPadOS 18.1, and macOS 15.1, is expected on October 28, with the second round coming soon after. Get ready for a smarter Apple experience!
