TikTok has rolled out exciting new features for its users: group chats and custom stickers! Now, TikTok users aged 16 and up can start group chats with up to 32 people, making it easier to share and discuss videos without leaving the app.
To start a group chat, simply tap the Chat button in your inbox or create a group directly while sharing a post.
For teens aged 16 and 17, there are extra safety measures.
They can only join group chats if they have at least one mutual friend in the group, and must manually approve any new members they invite.
Users aged 13 to 15 are still unable to use direct messages, including group chats.
In addition to group chats, TikTok is introducing custom stickers for direct messages.
Users can now create and upload their own stickers, adding a personal touch to their chats. This move positions TikTok as more than just a video-sharing platform, transforming it into a more interactive space for friends and family.
