WhatsApp has introduced a new update for iPhone users that brings a helpful Home Screen widget for chats.
After updating to version 24.21.81, iPhone users can easily add this widget by long-pressing the Home Screen and selecting the “Edit” option.
The widget allows users to quickly access their chats by choosing from options like Recents, Favorites, Pinned, or Frequently Contacted.
This update makes it much easier to jump into your most important conversations without opening the app itself. Users can personalize their Home Screen by selecting which chats they want easy access to.
Another exciting feature is the improved camera zoom in WhatsApp. With this update, users can zoom between 0.5x and 3x while taking photos or videos within the app, offering more control for capturing moments.
WhatsApp has also added the ability to mention people in Status updates. By tapping the “@” symbol, users can now tag others in their Status, making it easier to share updates with friends and family.
These updates are rolling out gradually, so not all users will get them right away, but they will be available to everyone in the coming weeks.
