Apple started selling reconditioned AirPods not too long ago, with the AirPods 3 being the first model to in October 2021. The business is currently extending its renovated store with AirPods Pro 2—but only in a few European nations.
Consumers in a few European nations, such as the UK, Austria, Belgium, Germany, Ireland, the Netherlands, Poland, and Switzerland, can now purchase refurbished AirPods Pro 2 for less money. According to MacRumors, Apple is selling a refurbished version of the original model, which debuted in 2022 along with the Lightning Charging Case.
Apple released an updated version of the AirPods Pro 2 this year that uses USB-C in place of Lightning in the charging case. However, when paired with an Apple Vision Pro, this revised version has improved dust resistance and supports Lossless audio.
A refurbished pair of AirPods Pro 2 is about 15% less expensive than a new pair. The latest AirPods Pro 2 cost £229 in the UK, but the refurbished version costs £189. Despite being refurbished, the earbuds come with a Lightning to USB-C cable and four sizes of silicone ear tips.
It’s important to note that other retailers offer better prices on AirPods, both new and refurbished. For just $189, you can purchase the AirPods Pro 2 with USB-C case on Amazon in the United States. The Lightning version that has been refurbished costs $169 on Amazon.com.
