The company announced that the largest mall in Ontario, Square One Shopping Centre, will soon host Apple’s new retail location on Tuesday. Although there is currently an Apple Store in Square One, the business is relocating to a bigger space within the shopping center.
Michael Steeber, the monthly email “Tabletops” creator concerning Apple Retail operations, was the first to notice the news. A subdued banner on the present Apple Square One webpage announces that a “new Apple Store is coming soon.” The current store will close permanently when the new one opens; the exact date of its opening is still unknown.
Over 24 million people visit the Square One Shopping Center in Mississauga, Ontario, each year. Apple Square One was launched nearly 15 years ago, in August 2009, just after the release of the iPhone 3GS.
Apple has opened numerous new stores and renovated some of its existing ones worldwide. Last week, the business teased the launch of the new Apple Jing’an retail location in China, the country’s 48th Apple. Earlier this year, Apple launched a new store in South Korea.
Customers can try out and purchase all of Apple’s goods, from the iPhone to the Mac, and accessories, such as the Apple Watch and AirPods, in stores. Apple Retail Stores also offer assistance to consumers when they need it.
