Ahead of Samsung’s anticipated Unpacked event in July, leaks have surfaced revealing detailed specifications for the upcoming Galaxy Z Flip 6 and Galaxy Z Fold 6 foldable smartphones.
Galaxy Z Flip 6 Highlights:
- Display: The Z Flip 6 is expected to feature a 6.7-inch Dynamic AMOLED main display with a resolution of 2600 x 1080 pixels and a 120Hz refresh rate. It will also include a 3.4-inch Super AMOLED cover display.
- Processor: Powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset.
- Storage Options: Available in 256GB and 512GB variants.
- Camera: Equipped with a 50MP primary camera and a 12MP ultra-wide-angle lens. For selfies, a 10MP front-facing camera is provided.
- Battery: Upgraded to a 4,000mAh capacity with 25W fast charging support.
- Dimensions and Weight: Maintains similar dimensions to its predecessor at 165.1 x 71.9 x 6.9 mm unfolded, weighing 187g.
- Connectivity: Supports Wi-Fi 6E and includes 14 5G bands, along with Bluetooth 5.3 and USB 3.2 Gen 1.
- Price: Expected to start at $1,100 for the 256GB model.
Galaxy Z Fold 6 Highlights:
- Display: Features a 7.6-inch Dynamic AMOLED interior display with a resolution of 2160 x 1856 pixels and a 120Hz refresh rate. The cover display is 6.2 inches with 2376 x 968 resolution.
- Processor: Also powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset.
- Memory and Storage: Comes with options for up to 12GB of RAM and up to 1TB of storage.
- Camera Setup: Includes a 50MP main sensor, 12MP ultra-wide, and 10MP telephoto lens. For selfies, it offers a 10MP cover camera and a unique under-display 4MP camera.
- Battery: Equipped with a 4,400mAh battery supporting 25W fast charging.
- Dimensions and Weight: Slightly lighter at 239g compared to its predecessor.
- Connectivity: Similar to the Z Flip 6 with Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.3, and USB 3.2 Gen 1.
- Expected Price: Starting at $1,900 for the 256GB variant.
