Lenovo is gearing up to launch a new lineup of budget-friendly Copilot Plus PCs at the IFA 2024 trade show in Berlin.
According to leaked details from tech tipster Evan Blass, these new models will include the IdeaPad 5x 2-in-1 and the IdeaPad Slim 5x.
Both laptops will be powered by an unannounced 8-core Qualcomm Snapdragon X Plus chip, offering a more affordable alternative to existing options.
The IdeaPad 5x 2-in-1 will feature a 14-inch OLED display and start at $1,100, while the IdeaPad Slim 5x, a sleek clamshell model, will be priced from $990.
These prices are notably lower than the current cheapest Copilot Plus PC, the Surface Laptop 7, which costs $1,325.
In addition to these Qualcomm-powered models, Lenovo will introduce other Copilot Plus PCs featuring Intel and AMD processors.
This move aims to make AI-enhanced laptops more accessible to a wider audience, offering powerful performance at more budget-friendly prices.
Expect these new models to hit the market in September, marking a significant step towards affordable AI-powered computing.
