WhatsApp, the Meta-owned messaging platform with over 3 billion users worldwide, is introducing an exciting feature that simplifies sharing stickers.
According to WABetaInfo, the app is testing the ability to share entire sticker packs directly within chats. This new feature is part of the latest WhatsApp beta update (version 2.24.25.2) for Android, now available to select beta testers via the Google Play Store.
Currently, users can share individual stickers, but this update will enable them to send entire collections in just a few taps. A new three-dot menu in the sticker picker offers options to either share the pack or remove it from the library.
Official WhatsApp sticker packs will be shared via a link to the sticker store, while third-party packs can be uploaded and sent directly to contacts or groups.
While the ability to create custom sticker packs is still under development, this sharing feature is a significant step forward.
WhatsApp teased the update on its official X (formerly Twitter) account, suggesting a broader rollout is coming soon.
Users can join the WhatsApp beta program on the Google Play Store for early access. A global launch date has yet to be announced, but with advanced testing underway, the feature is likely to arrive soon for everyone.
