Apple has added two new screen savers for Apple TV users with the release of tvOS 17 this week. These new choices are added to the amazing 4K content that is now more readily available to Apple TV users.
On Monday, tvOS 17 was made available to the public, adding new capabilities like FaceTime calls and VPN connectivity. Although these screensavers were formally announced by Apple as part of tvOS 17, they have actually been available as a server-side upgrade since Monday.
To get location details for each screen saver, tap the trackpad on your Siri Remote. On your Siri Remote, you may also swipe left or right to change the screen savers that are now playing.
You may change how long a screen saver lasts by adjusting the timer in the Settings app on your Apple TV. You can control how frequently fresh screen savers are downloaded to your Apple TV in the Settings app as well.
The two new screensavers include California’s Coastal Redwoods and Arizona’s Monument Valley. These new choices, like all Apple TV screensavers, display slow-motion aerial video in 4K resolution.
