Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra review

Let’s see what new things the S24 Ultra offers. What are the features, and what are the upgrades? So the first thing you should experience from this is if you have used the S23, it will look the same, but it’s real titanium, and if you see its color, I will kiss it. If we look at it with the latest Ultra, it doesn’t feel so heavy in the hand, but it is a bit thinner. You have an expensive smartphone in your hand.

The S24 Ultra comes with more features, with three main areas for improvement: the camera design and all-new Samsung AI tools, and the most significant change is the switch to a new titanium frame. As Apple recently did with the iPhone 15 Pro. The S24 Ultra has mostly stayed the same weight. Weighing in at 232 grams, just 2 grams lighter than the S23.

The Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra features a host of AI Snapdragon Gen 3 8 features, including a titanium frame. This version is more robust and well-built than previous versions, but the $1300 starting price will likely be high for buyers.

Display:

Display

As far as displays are concerned, Samsung proves that they are one of the best screen makers in the market. You can still get an OLED 6.8 screen with a variable 120Hz rate. In addition, it is now up to 2600 nits, not 1750 nits, and is much brighter.

The phone’s advanced Vision Booster adds significantly to the brightness, making games, movies, and more look great day or night. When the phone is used in the sun, it looks like the image has changed; the reflection goes down, and you can suddenly see it when you try to look at it.

While it was no less impressive, OLED screens have become brighter over the last few years, and the S24 Ultra has taken it a step further by introducing a new anti-glare coating that does a fantastic job of reducing reflections.

Camera addition:

Camera addition:

Galaxy Samsung Ultra has four cameras on the back, with a sensor on the fifth circle, which does not take pictures. You can enjoy a 200-megapixel primary camera, a 12-megapixel ultra-wide, a 10-megapixel 3x laser zoom, and a 50-megapixel 5x periscope camera; the rear 5x extreme camera is new, and the other three Cameras are in the old design. 5x zoom with excellent natural bokeh makes for incredible photos.

Hardware:

In my hands, this S24 Ultra feels like great hardware to be a great device. It is exceptionally balanced.

The phone is long, but it feels good in the hand. After using all the Ultra devices recently, it was clear that the S24 Ultra looks the best and the trunk is the best. The company has now removed the curved edges that people complained about, and even the vibration feels much better than in previous years.

Software:

The S24 Ultra features AI and new software, a complete suite of tools across multiple categories—photography, editing, search, text, and translation.

In addition to personal conversations, it also has a live translation feature that we can use during a call, which is enough for quick use when traveling. Still, some things, such as word selection and grinding private, are limited. The AI does its job when you are on the phone and wait a little while.

With Chat, you can set the tone for messages by looking at grammar, and the emoji options are a little trickier, as they can avoid text or email fights.

The S24 Ultra is the 6.1 in this series.

Like Android 14, Samsung’s Tech One UI is fresh and clear, and things like Samsung’s software are more durable.

Design and build:

Design and build:

The S24 Ultra looks similar to its predecessors, but everything else, like the build, internal hardware, and software, has been significantly improved. It has five cameras mounted on metal islands and an LED flash at the back.

It’s a low-end design with the Samsung logo in the middle،It has a beautiful flat display on the top with skinny bezels, which makes for a great media experience and has added a subtle touch to the screen, which makes it admirable.

It also has an additional AKG-tuned loudspeaker with an S-pin slot, a Type-C port microphone, and a SIM tray.

Live AI translates:

Live AI translates

AI Live Translation is an advanced invention that Samsung has made more enjoyable for users who want to communicate with people from different parts of the world, regardless of whether they know their language.

It has a live translation chat that supports 13 other languages.

Just speak your language; the live AI translator will do the job.

You will get the answer in your language, and your device security will also be more secure.

Thirteen languages and 17 regions will stand supported during the release, with more languages added in future updates.

The following languages are only available with this download.

 (Supported languages and areas)

Simplified Chinese, US, English, Hindi, UK, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Polish, Portuguese, Spanish, Mexico, Spain, US, Thai, and Vietnamese.

This world-changing step by Samsung Galaxy is commendable and very exciting.

Editing and Slow Motion:

Besides HDR, the smartphone has a digital anti-filter and AI correction; when you sharpen your image, you can move it sideways or delete things from it, which should be Smooth. If you want to fix it, other elements in the phone will generate it with the help of Galaxy AI.

One of my favorite things about it is AI slow motion; for example, make a video so you can watch the preview with AI in slow motion, and it does AI prime scaling so you know that it works fast.

Is running. And if you want to export it, you will see that the converted video will be in slow motion.

Battery performance:

With the new processor, there is a large battery, which achieves an adequate power of 5,000 mAh. It lasted 24 hours and 20 minutes in our local video rundown test, 4 hours longer than last year, where real-world battery life was impressive, with more than 50 percent remaining.

Depending on your work, if you use it in low light or if you use it at night, this battery may last you more than two days. The 5000 mAh battery is quite powerful for such a good smartphone.

Final Thoughts:

The Galaxy S24 Ultra, despite its familiar appearance, brings noteworthy improvements in 2024. The versatile camera system, featuring a 5x periscope zoom, ensures great photo quality. The transition to a curved 6.8-inch AMOLED screen, coupled with the S Pen, enhances the phone’s usability.

Galaxy AI introduces advanced features like voice dictation and real-time translation, setting it apart from non-Pixel smartphones. With all-day battery life, seven years of OS upgrades, and top-notch performance, the S24 Ultra stands out, but its high starting price of £1249/$1299 poses a challenge against tempting alternatives like the Google Pixel 8 Pro, iPhone 15 Pro, and OnePlus 12.
