Samsung’s Galaxy S25 series—comprising the Galaxy S25, S25+, and S25 Ultra—has cleared FCC certification for its European models, signaling the flagship lineup’s imminent launch. The devices are listed with model numbers SM-S931B/DS, SM-S936B/DS, and SM-S938B/DS.
The FCC documentation confirms features like 25W charging support (charger sold separately) and wireless charging on all models. The Galaxy S25 Ultra will offer 45W fast charging and S Pen support, continuing its legacy as the premium option in the lineup.
Connectivity upgrades include Bluetooth 5.4, Wi-Fi 7, NFC, and Ultra-Wideband (UWB). Notably, the S25 gains UWB technology for the first time, joining the S25+ and S25 Ultra. The supported 5G bands ensure global compatibility, catering to markets in Asia, Europe, Africa, and the Middle East.
The Galaxy S25 Ultra stands out with enhanced productivity features like stylus input, while all models feature wireless power sharing for added convenience.
Samsung is expected to unveil the Galaxy S25 series at a Galaxy Unpacked event, rumored for January 22, 2025. If the timeline holds, the devices will likely hit shelves in early February.
