Safari Technology Preview, an experimental browser Apple first unveiled in March 2016, received a new update from Apple today. The purpose of Apple’s Safari Technology Preview is to test the functionality of potential future Safari releases.
Web API, Inspector, JavaScript, Forms, CSS, Rendering, and Accessibility have all received updates and fixes in Safari Technology Preview 193.
Apple introduced macOS Ventura and macOS Sonoma, the most recent version of macOS, in September 2023. The current Safari Technology Preview release is compatible with these machines.
For those who have downloaded the browser, the Safari Technology Preview update is accessible through the Software Update mechanism in System Preferences or System Settings. The Safari Technology Preview page provides full release notes for the upgrade.
Apple hopes to get user and developer input on its browser development process through the Safari Technology Preview. Safari Technology Preview is intended for developers, although it may be downloaded without a developer account and can be used with the current Safari browser.
