This Friday, Apple will launch a brand-new immersive video for the Vision Pro titled “Parkour.” This is the second installment of the Adventure series. The first episode features the “Highlining” video, in which highliner Faith Dickey traverses a tightrope 3,000 feet above the fjords of Norway.
The Parkour episode’s description encourages Vision Pro wearers to embark on a “gravity-defying trip across the streets and rooftops of Paris” with the “world’s greatest parkour athletes.”
Apple claims that its Adventure series aims to take Vision Pro users “like never before” into the realm of adventure. Apple collaborates with forward-thinking athletes who encounter remarkable obstacles worldwide.
An entertainment format called Apple Immersive Video records 180-degree 3D 8K videos with spatial audio. Prehistoric Planet, Wild Life, and Alicia Keys: Rehearsal Room were among the Immersive Videos that the Vision Pro debuted with. Since then, Apple has included a video that showcases the top moments from the 2023 MLS Cup Playoffs.
