Apple Music radio shows now available in the Apple Podcasts app

Apple announced a new UI for its Podcasts app with iOS 17, which now has a new Now Playing panel, more search options, and a better Up Next experience.

Despite the fact that paid podcast subscriptions existed prior to iOS 17, artists had to start a separate subscription for Apple Podcasts. The new API enables third-party programms to integrate Apple Podcasts subscriptions. A subscription-based app, for example, can offer exclusive podcasts to its paying consumers via Apple Podcasts.

And to demonstrate the power of this new API, Apple has integrated the Apple Music subscription with Podcasts. All Apple Music original radio shows are now available on Apple Podcasts for individuals who have a valid Apple Music subscription.

Because Apple Music provides a large selection of original live performances, some users may choose to locate them afterwards in podcast form. Apple Music Today, The Zane Lowe Interview Series, The Message with Ebro Darden, Proud Radio, and HYPED are among the programming offered.

Users will discover Apple News+ material in the Podcasts app in addition to Apple Music radio programming.

To find podcasts from your app subscriptions, launch the Podcasts app, navigate to the Library menu, and then select the Channels option. You’ll see a list of your apps that have podcast subscriptions.
