Today is an important day because a new version of macOS Sonoma is being made available. Apple has released macOS 14 Sonoma beta 7 for developers to try out. This is the seventh test version that developers can use, and even the public can now access the sixth test version.
The latest version has been updated from ”building 23A5328b” to “building 23A5337a.” This new version was made accessible about eight days ago. Just yesterday, Apple also released the eighth test version of iOS 17, which is another operating system they’re working on.
iOS 17 is planned to be officially released in the middle of September. After that, the next big release will be macOS 14 Sonoma. Usually, Apple releases updates for macOS in October, a bit later than in previous years.
The upcoming macOS Sonoma will have some cool features like desktop widgets, better video chatting, the ability to keep online programs easily accessible, and more exciting things.
Apple has also updated the test files for the upcoming macOS Monterey 12.7 and for the Studio Display.
