M3 MacBook Air Models Now Arriving to Customers in New Zealand and Australia

It is Friday, March 8, in New Zealand and Australia, so customers who pre-ordered one of the new MacBook Air models are receiving their orders.

The revised 13.6-inch and 15.3-inch MacBook Air versions, released on Monday, include the same M3 chip as the MacBook Pro late last year.

Apple prioritizes internal improvements over external changes for the MacBook Air. Regarding CPU performance, the M3 chip outperforms the M2 processor by up to 30%, and Apple has added support for Dynamic Caching, hardware-accelerated ray tracing, hardware-accelerated mesh shading, and AV1 decoding.

The ‌MacBook Air‌ now supports two external screens in clamshell mode, supports Wi-Fi 6E, improves voice clarity for audio and video conversations, and features a new anodization seal to prevent fingerprints on the Midnight finish.

Apple retail outlets in Australia are selling the new MacBook Air laptops, with ample supply for walk-in consumers. Customers in New Zealand must place their orders online because Apple has no stores there.

After New Zealand and Australia, the new MacBook Air variants will be available in Asia, the Middle East, Europe, and North America.

After testing one of the devices, we’ll provide a hands-on assessment of the new M3 MacBook Air in the morning.
