In Australia and New Zealand, it is now Wednesday, May 15, and buyers who ordered one of the new M4 iPad Pro or M2 iPad Air models are beginning to get them.
The new iPads were launched last week. The iPad Pro has OLED display technology, a next-generation M4 CPU, and an even slimmer and lighter design than the iPad Air. The iPad Air has the M2 chip, which was once used in the iPad Pro; hence, it is a substantial improvement over the M1. Apple has also brought out a new 13-inch display size that is like the Pro but with an LCD screen rather than an OLED one.
Apple launched a new Magic Keyboard for the iPad Pro, which is bigger than the old one. It has a giant glass trackpad, function row, and metal palm rest that looks like a MacBook. The Apple Pencil Pro is also interoperable with the iPad Air and iPad Pro versions.
Despite the absence of Apple stores in New Zealand, the new iPad Pro and iPad Air models are readily available in Australian stores. Unlike the initial launch, these devices are not sold out and can be found on the shelves. However, the nano-texture glass for the 1TB and 2TB iPad Pro models is currently only available online after a short wait.
Following the successful launch in New Zealand and Australia, the new iPads will soon be making their way to other regions. Sales and deliveries will commence in Asia, the Middle East, and Europe, with North America set to follow suit in the near future.
