Apple has officially announced the launch of its Vision Pro headset in Taiwan, set for December 17, 2024. Pre-orders will begin this Thursday, December 5, at 9:00 a.m. local time.
The Vision Pro, priced at NT$119,900 (around $3,670), will be available in storage options of 256GB, 512GB, and 1TB. Customers can also purchase ZEISS optical inserts for NT$4,990 to enhance visual comfort. Pre-orders can be made online or in-store through Apple’s Taiwan website.
Apple’s retail locations in Taipei will host 30-minute demo sessions of the Vision Pro headset, allowing users to experience its advanced spatial computing features. These sessions will be available after pre-orders begin, with more details to follow.
Taiwan becomes the 13th region to receive the Vision Pro, following launches in the United States, Europe, Asia-Pacific, and the Middle East earlier this year. Apple continues to expand availability globally despite the device’s niche appeal and premium pricing.
The Vision Pro marks Apple’s entry into spatial computing, seamlessly blending digital content with the physical world for an immersive entertainment, productivity, and connectivity experience.
Interested buyers in Taiwan can pre-order starting December 5 to secure their headset for the December 17 release date.
