Minor updates to the iOS 17 and iPadOS 17 operating systems that Apple unveiled in September were released today as iOS 17.1.2 and iPadOS 17.1.2. A few weeks after the release of iOS 17.1.1, another bug fix update came for iOS 17.1.2 and iPadOS 17.1.2.
On compatible iPhones and iPads, the over-the-air software update for iOS 17.1.2 and iPadOS 17.1.2 can be obtained by navigating to Settings > General > Software Update.
According to Apple’s release notes, critical security fixes are included in iOS 17.1.2. The update fixes explicitly flaws that could have been used to compromise earlier iterations of iOS.
